Mountain rescue reported at the Tom's Thumb Trail at 23015 North 128th Street in Scottsdale, AZ.

[Update: 7:03 PM MST] Units on the for a reported person who may have fallen. Technical rescue teams along with helicopter air support are working to locate the hiker and determine the level of injuries suffered.
[Update: 7:27 PM MST] The hiker that fell was able to walk back to the trailhead. Scottsdale Fire Department Paramedics evaluated and determined that the hiker did not require any medical treatment. All units going back in service.
The Scottsdale Fire Department wants to remind everyone to bring plenty of water, wear appropriate shoes and clothing, and bring a phone when hiking on the trail system.
