Injury accident involving a pedestrian reported in the 8100 block of East Thomas Road in Scottsdale, AZ.

[Update] Scottsdale PD officials tell us that a white Kia SUV was travelling eastbound on Thomas Rd. The Kia was occupied by a male driver and a female passenger. The Kia struck a (47 year old) male subject laying in the roadway. The male subject died as a result of the collision.
[Update: 5/13/2015] Scottsdale PD officials tell us that the deceased was identified as Louis Martinez (48 years old W/M). Louis had a known medical condition that would make him lay down immediately. Police investigators determined that he must have suffered a seizure that caused him to lay down in the roadway.
