Mountain rescue reported in the 30600 block of North Pima Road in Scottsdale, AZ.

[Update: 9:45 AM MST] SFD officials tell us that Scottsdale and Phoenix fire units were called for a hiker in distress. The hiker was assisted out of the desert to a neighborhood where he is now being evaluated medically. If conditions warrant further medical evaluation and treatment he will be transported to a local hospital. No further information is available at this time.
