House Fire - 2800 N 69th Place

Working house fire reported in the 2800 block of North 69th Place in Scottsdale, AZ.

Units on scene include: E601+ E607+ E613+ BC601 FI601 SCTP01 SRP001.

Scottsdale FD: 12:34 AM fire first reported as a "check fire out call" at a single family residents in the area of 69th Pl and East Windsor Ave. Additional 911 calls reported that a shed was on fire in the back yard. Fire units encountered heavy fire in the back yard with extensions to the back of the house and two power poles that had transformers on fire. Crews had immediate exposure to the north and to the south, power lines down, and ammunition inside the house. Fire was declared defensive. First Alarm. under the Automatic Aid Agreement. Approximately 55 firefighters from Scottsdale, Tempe, and Phoenix Fire Departments worked together to bring the fire under control. Four residents were displaced. Scottsdale PD crisis team assisted displaced residents. The displaced residences will be staying with family. SRP (Salt River Project) de-energized the power lines so fire crews could make access to the rear of the structure. The cause is unknown and still under investigation.
