Check welfare call reported in the 6600 block of East 4th Street in Scottsdale, Arizona.

[Update] On September 5th, 2020 at 2:20 p.m., Scottsdale patrol officers were dispatched to a check welfare near the 6600 block of East 4th Street in Scottsdale. An adult female was found deceased inside a residence with injuries consistent to a gunshot wound. An adult male was transported by ambulance for a gunshot wound to his face. Both parties in this case are related and we are in the early stages of the investigation. It is not believed that there are any outstanding suspects related to this case, according to Christopher Watson, Lieutenant, R2 Shift with the Scottsdale Police Department.
