Arizona State Land Department Announces Auction Success With Volkswagen Of America, Inc.
According to the Arizona State Land Department, Volkswagen of America, Inc paid $55 million dollars for a reported 25 year land lease on 11,900 acres. The land is located west of Gila Bend, Arizona. A new automobile proving grounds is planned for the property, says the Arizona State Land Department.
