The City of Scottsdale provides free sandbags to citizens in emergency situations. Usually when storms are forecasted.
The Bags are located at the Guard House at the City's Corporation Yard facility at 9191 E. San Salvador (Via Linda and 91st Street) Scottsdale, AZ 85258.
Sandbags are usually prefilled. Occasionally it may be necessary for citizens to fill the bags themselves. Be sure to bring your own shovel.
Call 480-312-5620 between the hours of 7:30 AM MST and 4:00 PM MST with questions. Call the Scottsdale Police Department at 480-312-5000 after 4:00 PM in an emergency situation.
