Swine Flu Fears Stop at Mexico Border

Scottsdale Arizona News -- A quick check of local businesses, restaurants, and bars shows no Swine Flu fear - yet.

The Swine Flu epidemic has shut down much of Mexico's tourism. The Mexico border is plus, minus 200 or so miles south of Scottsdale.

Scottsdale News staff report that no local signs of fear. Staff spent a good hour looking for people wearing masks. We checks out a few restaurants, a bar, a bank, and the North Scottsdale hospital. Our report as of 2 pm Arizona time is: no signs of any residents wearing medical masks. No one wearing was wearing medical masks in the Thompson Peak Hospital, according to a one hundred hour hospital volunteer.
