The Grand Canyon National Park should be on everyone's "to do" list. The attraction is located 3 to 4 hours north of Phoenix.

At the canyon you can enjoy: tours, restaurants, shopping and hiking.

Questions

Have a question on the Grand Canyon? Leave them in the comments below! I will do my best in answering all questions on hiking, hotels, restaurants and road conditions! I am a hiking expert. Hiked the canyon many times! My brother hikes rim to rim.

Hotels

Services are very limited inside the park. Best to make advanced reservations. Tip - Plan on a short notice visit and check for hotel cancellations. If park is sold out stay in a hotel in Tusayan. Just one mile outside the park boundary.

Camping

Check the park service site for campgrounds info.

Hiking

The park is a hikers dream. Bright Angel and South Kaibab are the main trails. Hiking can be deadly. Check the park service for info on hiking trails.

Mules

You can take short trips or overnight mule rides to Phantom Ranch.

Rafting

Short to multi day trips. Rafting would be down the Colorado River. River rafting can be dangerous.

Helicopter Tours

Grand Canyon Airport is located inside the park.

Shopping

Limited shopping services available. Mainly small gift shops. Advice - Stock up on supplies in Flagstaff.
