Sunrise Ski Area Arizona Opening Today After Extreme Weather

Sunrise ski area is open this morning with a reported snow depth of 92 to 135 inches. The ski area says 100 percent of Sunrise Peak and Apache Peak is open with 70 percent powder conditions. Cyclone Mountain is closed. Website says Cyclone will be opening soon.

The National Weather Service in Flagstaff says the five-day winter storm dropped an estimated 96 inches of snow on the ski and snowboard resort.

Ski lift ticket prices: adults $49.00, youth $42.00 and juniors $28.00. Ticket prices includes all tax.

The weather service says to expect snow showers to spread across the area today and tonight. Several inches of snow are likely above 6000 feet.
