Scottsdale Arizona News -- Firefighters were called out to a fire at a Scottsdale Road apartment Tuesday morning.
Tiffani Nichols with the Scottsdale Fire Department said at approximately 5:40 a.m., Scottsdale Fire was dispatched to the 6700 block of N Scottsdale Road for a reported apartment fire.
Nichols says the 911 caller stated seeing black smoke coming from a condo. Fire crews arriving on the scene found a two-story building with smoke interior and an active attic fire that had extended from the first to the second floor.
Nichols says more than 25 firefighters from Scottsdale and Phoenix were able to get the fire under control at 6:17 a.m.
No injuries have been reported at this time to firefighters or cilivians have been reported.
The cause and damage estimate was not immediately available.
