Working Fire at 7500 E Berridge Lane

1st alarm assignment. Working house fire in the attic in the Ranchos Chiquito subdivision in the 7500 block of East Berridge Lane in Scottsdale, AZ.

Scottsdale Fire Department, Phoenix Fire Department, Scottsdale Police, EMT Ambulance, APS and Southwest Gas responded. Units dispatched and on scene include: E92, E601, E602, E603, E605, P-607, L602, BC2, BC601, FI601, APS002, SCTP02, SWG003, U29, E91, E604, L12 and L276.

[Update] One story home with 2,552 square feet of living space. Built in 1958. Attic fire. Captain Sasha Wellers on scene. Fire officials say the blaze was contained to the west side of the house. There was a partial structural collapse. The homeowners were not home at the time. The cause of the fire is unknown and there's no damage estimate at this time. No injuries were reported.
