A strong winter Pacific storm is expected to move into the Phoenix metro area tonight.
The National Weather Service says rain is expected to develop in the Phoenix area between 11 p.m. and 7 a.m. Friday morning. Rainfall totals will range from half an inch to three quarters of an inch locally.
