Condo fire reported at the Maya Condominiums at 7625 block of East Camelback Road in Scottsdale, AZ.
Units responding include: E92, E601, E603, L12, BC2, BC601, SCTP00, PMT Ambulance (P-604), LT602 and FI601. Battalion Chief 601 is command/incident commander.
[Update] Scottsdale fire department firefighters and Phoenix Fire responded to the call. Fire was confined to the kitchen of one unit.
Scottsdale fire department paramedics provided medical treatment to multiple pets that were in the condo. Crews rescued 3 cats and 1 guinea pig from the unit. One of the cats was unable to be saved. One cat (survived) was revived on scene a Scottsdale Fire Department Captain/Paramedics.
No human injuries were reported.
