[Update] Scottsdale FD tells us in an email that crews from Scottsdale, Tempe, and Phoenix Fire Department are currently on scene at a active Hazardous Materials incident. Upon arrival crews discovered that a piece of equipment, that is attached to the outside of the CT Scanner, broke resulting in a chemical spill. The material has been contained and the room in which it occurred has been isolated.
[Final Update] SFD tells us that the the substance involved in the HazMat Incident was benign. No immediate threat. Scottsdale Healthcare Osborn is open and accepting patients in the emergency department (ED). Crews are wrapping up and going back in service.
