Proposed Transit Service Changes For October 27, 2014 - Valley Metro - Scottsdale, AZ

Route 17 – McDowell*

In Scottsdale, modify weekday service frequency from 30 to 20 minutes. Extend route on weekdays, Saturday and Sunday at new frequency east on McDowell Rd. and south on 92nd St. to serve Casino Arizona in the Salt River Pima-Maricopa Indian Community.

Route 29 – Thomas*

In Scottsdale, modify weekday peak hour frequency from 30 to 16 minutes and off-peak frequency from 30 to 20 minutes.

Route 41 – Indian School*

In Scottsdale, modify weekday frequency from 15 to 20 minutes.

Route 50 – Camelback*

In Scottsdale, modify weekday frequency from 30 to 20 minutes and terminate east end of route at Scottsdale Rd. The connection from Scottsdale Fashion Square to Scottsdale Community College will be provided via trolley.

Route 56 – Priest

In Phoenix and Scottsdale, extend route north from the Desert Botanical Garden to SkySong at Scottsdale Rd. and McDowell Rd.

Route 72 – Scottsdale/Rural

In Scottsdale, modify Sunday frequency from 60 to 30 minutes and extend route north to Pinnacle Peak Rd. providing service on weekdays, Saturday and Sunday

Route 80 – Northern/Shea Blvd*

In Phoenix and Scottsdale, modify Saturday and Sunday frequency from 60 to 30 minutes

Route 81 – Hayden/McClintock

In Scottsdale, modify Saturday and Sunday frequency to 30 minutes.

Route 511 – Tempe/Scottsdale Airpark Express

Eliminate route.

Miller Road Trolley

Modify frequency from 30 to 20 minutes on weekdays and from 60 to 30 minutes on Saturday and Sunday.
