Police Chief Rodbell Named Supervisor of the Year

Scottsdale Police Chief Alan Rodbell received the Doeg Nelson Supervisor of the Year Award at the Arizona Black Law Enforcement Employees Association (ABLE) 9th Annual Law Enforcement Award Ceremony on Friday, August 29, 2014 in Phoenix, AZ, according to info posted on the ABLE website.

The Supervisor of the Year Award is named after Doeg Nelson, the first black assistant police chief in Arizona. The award is given to sworn or civilian personnel of the rank of sergeant or above who have contributed in an exemplary manner to their department and personnel relations and whose actions typify excellence in leadership.
