Barricade situation reported in the 7000 block of East Dixileta Drive in Scottsdale, AZ.
Units on scene include: Maricopa County Sheriff's Office (MCSO), Scotsdale PD and Scottsdale FD.
[Update: 6:23 PM MST] SPD officials tell us that the Scottsdale Police Department is currently dealing with an armed barricaded male subject at a residence in the area. SPD officers have surrounded the home and the SWAT team is on scene. The Scottsdale Fire Department is staging in the area due to smoke coming from the chimney. Media staging is at Scottsdale Rd and Dixileta Drive. PIO is on scene.
