Update: Single story home. 2,134 sq. ft. Scottsdale FD officials tell us that crews responded to a report of smoke from a structure. Upon arrival, crews established that they had a working fire interior to the structure. Crews made quick entry to discover a fire on a stove top that extended into the cabinets above. Interior crews extinguished the blaze quickly and confirmed no further extensions. One resident was evaluated for possible smoke inhalation. After evaluation the resident refused any further treatment.
