Rescue call reported at the San Tropez apartment complex at 2700 North Hayden Road in Scottsdale, AZ.

[Update: 7:30 PM MST] SFD officials tell us that Scottsdale Fire responded to a 26 yr old male who was working on a AC unit on the roof of a two story apartment building. Patient was using some flammable gas, when there was a minor explosion that caused the worker to receive flash burns to his face and chest. The patient was conscious and breathing, but unable to self extricate himself off the roof. A technical rescue was performed to remove the patient. The man was transported to the Arizona Burn Center at Maricopa Medical Center for further evaluation.
