[Update] On Monday July 16, 2018 at 8:30 am, a male suspect entered the Circle K at 3410 North Hayden Road. Once inside, he waited in the back of the store until all the customers left the store. He then approached the clerk, simulated a pistol in his pocket and demanded money. The clerk complied with the demand and handed the suspect a determined amount of cash. The suspect then left the store and fled the area on foot.
The suspect is described as a white male, mid 20’s, 5’7 tall, slender to medium build and short brown hair. In the first armed robbery, the suspect was seen wearing a white sweatshirt and blue jeans. In the second armed robbery, the suspect was last seen wearing dark blue hooded sweatshirt, grey T-Shirt underneath, dark jeans and brown work boots.

[Update July 21, 2018]: Scottsdale PD has arrested 27-year-old Nicholas Shoemaker for the recent Scottsdale Circle K robbery series. Shoemaker was arrested, without incident, on July 19, 2018 at approximately 4:45 PM MST, for multiple counts of Armed Robbery, according to Sgt. Tyler Johnson, public information officer with the Scottsdale Police Department.
