City Trash Collection Every 2 Weeks - Not Working!!

Overflowing trash can at a Valley Meto bus stop at Scottsdale Road at Camelback Road (northeast corner) on April 01, 2019 at 8:34 AM MST. This bus stop is located right in front of Sprinkles cupcakes bakery.

The city of Scottsdale has one full time employee who is responsible for the maintenance of all bus stops within the city of Scottsdale. This employee works Monday through Friday and may work overtime to handle special events. There is no specific order in which the bus stops are serviced. Each stop is visited at least once in a two week period, with those in high traffic areas being serviced more frequently, according to Kelly Corsette, communications and public affairs director with the City of Scottsdale.

If there is a specific condition or situation that needs to be addressed (such as overflowing trash cans), the quickest way is to use our online reporting system, Scottsdale EZ. You can find it via a web search for “Scottsdale EZ” or at http://ScottsdaleAZ.gov/EZ

Once there, search for “bus stop” and follow the prompts to enter the issue.
