Mountain rescue reported at the Gateway Trailhead at 18333 North Thompson Peak Parkway in Scottsdale, Arizona.

Update: Scottsdale and Phoenix Fire, Department Technical rescue crews, rescued a male hiker on the Gateway Trail. The male hiker had fallen and sustained head injuries. A Scottsdale fire drone was utilized to assist in the operation, according to Scottsdale Fire Department officials. Update 4:05 PM MST: Maricopa 607 ambulance is leaving scene to hospital (Thompson Peak).
