Tokyo Electric Power Company, one of Japan's major suppliers, says TEPCO's facilities have been seriously damaged, power shortage may occur.
The company says they are taking all measures to restore power, however, they expect extremely challenging situation in power supply for a while.
TEPCO is asking customers to reduce usage of power by avoiding using unnessesary lighting and electrical equipment. Please do not touch cut-off electric wires, even if you find them.
