An Alert Three aircraft incident reported at Scottsdale Airport in the 15000 block of North 78th Way in Scottsdale, AZ.
The call was dispatched from the Phoenix Fire Department Phoenix Regional Dispatch Center on Tuesday, August 7, 2012 at around 7:42 p.m. MST.
Units responding include: E31+ E278+ E605+ E608+ E609+ E610+ P-610 L606+ L611+ BC2 BC6 BC601 BC602 NDC CV30 F54 RH2 U50 and F609 (Foam 609).
[Update] The aircraft is off the runway. The plane landed with all wheels up. No Fire. No injuries reported. The airport is closed.
[Update 2] Airport officials tell us that the plane involved was a fixed-wing, twin engine Piper. The airport was closed for about two and half hours. Scottsdale Police and Scottsdale Fire Department crews responded to the Alert 3 call.
