House fire reported in the Sweetwater Ranch Foothils at Sweetwater Ranch subdivision in the 9900 block of East Wood Drive (100th St & Sweetwater Ave) in Scottsdale, AZ.
Units responding include: E604, E608, E610, L606, BC601, BC602, APS000, SCTP00 and SWG000.
[Update] Working fire. Additional units added to the call include: E605, E609, P-606 ,BC6, FI601 and U29. Battalion Chief 602 is command/incident commander.
[Details] SFD officials tell us in an email that crews responded to a residential house fire in the 9800 block of Wood Drive at 22:59 last evening. First crews on scene found a 2-story residential home with a working garage fire with flames coming through the garage roof. Fire crews made sure they had an all clear of the structure then the fire crews made a coordinated and aggressive interior fire attack. Two occupants were home at the time of the fire. The residents were alerted by the smoke detectors. They left the house and called 911. 32 firefighter were on scene. No civilian or firefighter injuries reported.
