Apartment fire reported in the 7800 block of North 78th Street in Scottsdale, AZ.
Units responding include: E92, E601, E602, E603, E604, P-602, L12, L602, BC2, BC271, BC601, FI601, SCTP00, SRP000 and U29. Battalion Chief 601 is command/incident commander.
[Update] Scottsdale FD paramedics, PMT Ambulance (P-602) have left the scene. En route to hospital.
[Final Update] SFD tells us in an email that fire crews responded to a report of smoke in an apartment. The cause was determined to be from food on the stove. There was no extension of fire beyond the pot on the stove top. One occupant complaining of smoke inhalation was transported to the hospital.
The Scottsdale Fire Department reminds residents to never leave items on the stove unattended.
