Working attic fire reported in the Park Scottsdale 3 subdivision at 8631 E San Miguel Ave in Scottsdale, AZ.
Units on scene include: E602 E603 P-601 LT602 BC601 FI601 SCTP01 SRP000 and SWG000. Battalion Chief 601 is command/incident commander. Automatic aid. Approximately 30 firefighters from Scottsdale and Phoenix Fire Departments on scene.
[Update from Scottsdale FD officials] Smoke coming from the eves of the house. Interior searched for any victims. House was vacant. Crews located a small smoldering fire in an isolated area of the attic. The house was under renovation. Workers were on scene.
The cause of the fire is currently under investigation.
