Structure fire reported at the American Diamond Works jewelry store at 6920 East 1st Avenue (68th St & Indian School) in Scottsdale, AZ.
Units responding, staged and/or on scene include: E92 E601 E602 E603 R13 P-602 L12 LT602 BC2 BC601 FI601 APS000 SCTP02 SWG000 and U29. Battalion Chief 601 is command/incident commander.
[Update] Scottsdale and Phoenix FD responded (automatic aide). Single story commercial structure. Crews forced entry. Working attic fire. The building sustained water and smoke damage. Approximately 30 firefighters were on scene. No civilian injuries, 1 firefighter was transported to SHC hospital for possible heat exhaustion. The fire is under investigation.
