Working one-story house fire reported in the Scottsdale Estates 16 subdivision in the 8600 block of East Avalon Drive (Thomas Road & Loop 101 Freeway) in Scottsdale, AZ.
Units responding or on scene include: E13 E271 E275 E602 E603 R13 P-602 L276 BC2 BC271 BC601 BC602 SCTP01 U29. Battalion Chief 601 is command/incident commander.
[Update] Scottsdale FD officials tell us in an email that Scottsdale, Tempe and Phoenix fire departments responded to a house fire at 8557 East Avalon Drive. Arriving firefighters found a house well involved with flames through the roof. The fire was contained to the 1,470 square-foot house. No one was home at the time of the fire. No civilian or firefighter injuries reported. The cause of the fire is under investigation.
