Structure fire reported in the 15600 block of North 84th Street (Hayden Rd & Northsight Blvd) in Scottsdale, AZ.
Units responding include: E608 E610 L606 BC601 BC602.
[Update] Scottsdale FD officials tell us that SFD responded to a smell of smoke in a commercial occupancy, with additional reports of smoke coming from a few AC vents. First arriving units encountered a strong odor with no active fire. Fire crews determined the cause to be a problem with a motor inside of a AC unit.
No injuries were reported.
Scottsdale Fire wants to remind everyone to have a working smoke detector, and to change the batteries at least once per year.
