[Update] SPD officials tell us that last night around midnight, Scottsdale officers were attempting to locate a male suspect who had stolen a purse from the Pita Jungle. The suspect was last seen in a black Chrysler 300 Sedan. The suspect vehicle was located at Hayden and Indian School. As officers attempted to stop the vehicle, the vehicle fled from the officers. Multiple officers responded to the area but the suspect fled southbound on the Loop 101 (Pima Freeway). No pursuit was initiated due to the fact that it was a property crime.
