Injury accident involving a pedestrian reported north of the intersection at North Hayden Road & East Thomas Road in Scottsdale, AZ.
Units responding include: E601 P-602 SCTP00.
[Update: 4:05 AM MST] Fatal. Police are on scene investigating. Hayden Road is closed between Earll Drive & Thomas Road.
[Update: 12:27 PM MST] Scottsdale Police: This morning at 3:20 AM MST, a pickup was travelling southbound on Hayden Rd approaching Avalon. A female pedestrian was struck by the pickup in the southbound lanes and killed. The collision is still under investigation and the roadway was closed for approximately 5 hours. The driver of the pickup remained at the scene and impairment was not a factor.
