Northbound Scottsdale Rd is closed from 1st Ave to Indian School Road due to a serious injury traffic incident, according to the Scottsdale Police Department.
Drivers should use alternate routes.
[Scottsdale PD Update: 5:06 PM MST] We are in the early stages of the investigation but it appears a passenger fell from a golf cart that the as traveling north on Scottsdale Road. The passenger was transported to a local hospital with serious injuries, according to Scottsdale Police spokesman Kevin Watt
[Update: 7:05 PM MST] Road restrictions on Scottsdale Road from 1st Ave to Indian School have been cleared.
