Carjacking reported at Starbucks at 9301 East Shea Blvd in Scottsdale, AZ. The victim's silver BMW was taken at gunpoint earlier this morning at 5:30 AM MST.
The male victim’s vehicle is a 2014 silver BMW two door convertible. The license plate is an Arizona Veteran plate – JJ 37. No one was injured during this incident. The investigation is ongoing, according to Sgt. Ben Hoster with the Scottsdale Police Department.
Anyone with information about this case or the outstanding stolen vehicle is asked to call 911 or the Scottsdale Police Department at 480-312-5000.
[Update: 7:30 PM MST] The stolen silver BMW convertible was recovered this afternoon in Phoenix during an incident involving a Arizona Department of Public Safety (DPS) officer at 32nd Street and McDowell Road.
