The Scottsdale Police Department and SRP would like to remind citizens that swimming in canals is dangerous and never permitted. SRP canals have fast currents and slippery sides which can make them very hard to get out. These canals are designed to deliver water to a large portion of the Valley, and they are not meant for swimming.
