Scottsdale Arizona News -- Here are some numbers from the 2010 WM Phoenix Open golf event. The total week long attendance was 425,905 people.
10 – Number of GreenOps Recycling Kiosks used (Reverse Vending Machines), which give out points or prizes in exchange for aluminum cans or plastic bottles.
60 – Number of Solar Trash Compactors
20 - Number of Roll-Offs
7 - Number of Compactors
34 - Number of 8-yard Containers
1053 - Number of Port-O-Lets (Portable Toilets)
12 - Number of Crowd-Pleasers (giant, trailer Port-O-Lets)
32- Number of Handicap Port-O-Let Units
323 – Tons of trash and recyclable material collected by Waste Management at the 2010 tournament – 60 percent (or 193.8 tons) of which was diverted from the landfill.
