Hiked the Whitehouse Trail to the confluence and back. The temperature was 24 degrees at the trailhead at 9am. The forecast was to be temps. in the low 50's I thought. The temperature was 38 degrees back at my vehicle at finish of the day hike!
I made sure to count toes on each foot before driving away and look for signs of frostbite....five on left foot....five on right foot and no frostbite!
