Blockbuster Gift Card Declined

Someone gave me a $10 Blockbuster gift card for my birthday. I gave it to a neighbor of mine as a nice gesture. The neighbor told me that the card was declined because it had no funds on it. Blockbuster employees said that the selling company of the gift card probably did not activate the card. Stuff happens I guess.
