A Scottsdale home caught fire Sunday afternoon, fire officials said.
The fire originated in the bedroom of a house near McDowell and Granite Reef roads at approximately 4:45 pm December 26, according to Patty Jo Angelini, Scottsdale Fire Department spokeswoman.
The damage to the home is estimated to be about $4,500; there were no injuries reported, Angelini said.
The cause of the fire is under investigation.
