Commander Jeffrey Walther will be promoted to Assistant Chief on Sunday January 12, 2014, according to a press release by the Scottsdale Police Department.
Walther starting working for the department in 1994 as a patrol officer. He will be assigned to lead the Uniformed Services Division.
