Structure fire reported in Grayhawk Parcel 3E South subdivision in the 19700 block of North 83rd Place in Scottsdale, AZ.

Working house fire. Additional units added to the call: E608 P-610 BC601 FI601 APS000 SCTP00 SCTP01 SWG000 U50. Battalion Chief 602 is command/incident commander. PMT Ambulance (P-610) left scene to hospital.
[Update] Scottsdale fire Department officials tell us that crews responded to house at 19743 North 83rd Place. Upon arrival firefighters found sprinkler activation and a small fire in a couch. Scottsdale fire paramedics treated and transported an intoxicated patient occupant from home. Crews were able to bring the fire under control. There were no firefighter injuries reported.
Police and fire officials are investigating the cause of the fire.
The 2,518 sq ft house was purchased in May 2007 for $740,000, according to assessor records.
