Mountain rescue reported at the Gateway Trailhead at 18333 North Thompson Peak Parkway in Scottsdale, Arizona.

[Update: 12:29 PM MST] SFD officials tell us that Scottsdale and Phoenix Fire are on scene at 104th Street and Thompson Peak Pkwy for a 59-year-old female hiker who is feeling light headed. Rescue teams are assisting her with getting off the trail. She is refusing transportation to the hospital.
Scottsdale Fire would like to remind people to hydrate the night before and take plenty of water with them while they are hiking. It's a hot day and is even hotter on the mountain trails. Take a charged cell phone and stay on the marked trails. Hike with a buddy and wear sunscreen.
